Kenneth M. Ayars, Sr., 84, of Cohansey-Deerfield Road, Hopewell Township, died Wednesday July 19, 1989 at home.
Born in Bridgeton, he lived at his present address for 25 years.
Before retiring in 1967, Mr. Ayars was employed in the receiving department of the E.I. DuPont Co. for 24 years. An active member of Berean Baptist Temple, he formerly served on its board of trustees.
Surviving are his wife, Ila J. (nee Kishpaugh) Ayars; a son, Richard "Alan" of Stow Creek Township; three grandsons; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, July 22nd in the Carll-Peterson-Ilacqua Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery.
