"Wendell Ross Johnson, 71, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, who served during Vietnam. Wendell was a retired postal worker and most recently worked for UPS.

He was born June 26, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Ross Claude and Mary Louise Johnson. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Debra (Russ) Johnson and his brother James Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Johnson, Elizabeth Vaughn (Jason), and Amy Johnson; his long-time companion, Debbie Crawford: grandchildren, Kiley Vaughn, Rayna Stewart, Katelynn Vaughn, and Logan Stewart; his brothers, Chuck Johnson and Scott Johnson; and his sister, Donna Lynch.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Monday, June 18 at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10 am with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. "
