Albert (Bud) Cone Sr. went to be with the lord on April 3, 2012. He was born November 16, 1920, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The son of the late Emily and Burt Cone. He was the youngest of 3 siblings. On July 4 1953 he married Jeannette Coache, who survives. Bud graduated from Mainland Sr. High in 1939. Following the outbreak of World War ll he served in the U.S. Navy as a storekeeper until his medical discharge in 1943. He applied and was accepted to Georgia Business School where he graduated in 1946. Returning home, Bud worked in the local area job market for the next 60 years. He is survived by his wife Jeannette of 58 years; their two sons Al and wife Celene, Bob and Wanda; followed by two grandkids Robert and Amanda. The service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Holly Hill on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:30 pm.
