—Mary Elizabeth Arnold was born May 14, 1886, died Saturday, May 23, 1925, at 12 o'clock, aged 39 years, 9 days. She was married to Homer Shonyo, June 25, 1907. To this union were born 4 children, 2 girls, 2 boys: Arnold, Charles, Lucile, Lorene, all at home. Besides her husband, children, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Milvina Arnold; 2 brothers, Charles, Leslie Arnold. The floral offerings were beautiful and many. The funeral was held Sunday, May 24, at 2:30 from the Mt. Zion church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Wassel, of Robinson. Burial in Mt. Zion cemetery by the side of her father, which was her wish. Her favorite songs that she had selected were sung by her niece, Mrs. Forest Arnold, "Love Lifted Me," "The Old Rugged Cross," "We Are Going Down the Valley." The body bearers were neighbors, which was her wish: Ray Nevin, Kenneth Jack, Carl Shonyo, Warren Parker, Forest Arnold. In the passing of Mrs. Shonyo the husband, children lose a fine mother, wife, the community a fine citizen.
