Ronald L. “Rip” Ripley, 75, born in Elmira, NY went home to be with the Lord on Good Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Born son of the late Edwin and Gertrude Ripley; He was also predeceased by his brother, Philip.
Rip is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce M. Ripley; sons, Joseph of Luray,VA, and James (Kandy) of Hinesville, GA; daughter, Mary of Elkton, VA; Four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Katheryn Ernest and Susan (Fred) FitzPatrick; sister-in-law, Joanna Ripley; He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Rip was an 8 year veteran of the US Airforce. He retired from NYSEG after 23 years of dedicated service. Rip was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by all.
