Carl Douglas Estes of Vernon, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at his residence. He was 80 years of age.
Mr. Estes was born September 11, 1937, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Orlen and Mozelle Estes. He served in the U.S Air Force and worked for the Alabama State Troopers. Mr. Estes was an avid Alabama fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Tivie Estes; three brothers, Glenn Estes, Jimmy Estes, and Howard Estes; and three sisters, Lillian Bates, Nylene Drake, and Betty Ruth Estes.
