A. Louise Anger, 100, of Midland, died Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at Cascades Senior Living. The daughter of the late Alfred H. and Ida W. (Sachtleben) Robertson was born on July 25, 1913, in Traverse City.
On Feb. 28, 1942, she married Elroy "Bill" Anger and after 60 years of marriage he preceded her in death April 4, 2002. Louise had worked for the Kresge Co. as a clerk.
Louise, along with her husband, Bill, was part of the founding members of the Mid-Michigan Bowman Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed sewing and was a seamstress. She resided at Riverside for many years where she enjoyed playing cards, being active with many friends and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Louise is survived by her son, William (Linda) Anger of Midland; grandchildren, Kimberly (Steve) Manley and Ken Anger; brother-in-law, Lee (Lillian) Anger; sisters-in-law, Marge Anger and Ethel Anger; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rosie Zimmerman, Alfred Robertson, Mary Kubesh, Robert Robertson amd Walter Robertson.
Funeral and committal service will be conducted from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, with The Rev. David Mulder officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Interment will be in Poseyville Cemetery.
