Wilma Rae Pickett, 88, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on November 18, 1929, to Kathryn E. Linn Rinehart and Robert Rinehart, in Amarillo.
Survivors include her son, Jerry W. Pickett and his wife, Jodel, of Bedias; son-in-law, John Allen Hays, Sr. of Beaumont; grandsons, Garrison W. Pickett and his wife, Nelly, of Cypress; John Hays, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Nederland; Jeff Hays and his wife, Christina, of Kirbyville; and William Hays of Beaumont; great-grandchildren, Joshua Pickett, Alex Pickett, Gracie Pickett, Nathan Pickett, Maya Pickett, Tyler Hays, Jayla Hays, Kayleigh Hays, and Jahvon Williams; nephew, Keith Rinehart; special friend, Bobbie Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyce Pickett; daughter, Vickie Hays; and brothers, Bob Rinehart and Johnny Rinehart.
A gathering of Mrs. Picketts family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, at Broussards, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m., at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.
