SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Mrs. Mayo Addison Tilton will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 1999 at Life Tabernacle. Officiating will be Rev. Nolan Logan. Burial will be at Forest Park West.
Funeral home visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 5 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Mrs. Tilton, a resident of Shreveport, LA for 70 died Saturday, April 3, 1999. She was born in Zwolle, LA, April 5, 1907 and is celebrating her 92nd birthday in heaven today. Mrs. Tilton was a homemaker and a member of Life Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Marie Tilton, and son, Benjamin Jefferson Tilton.
Mrs. Tilton is survived by her husband of 70 years, Odis Eugene Tilton, of Shreveport, LA; three sons, Eugene R. Tilton and wife, Glendell , of Shreveport, LA, Paul Vernon Tilton and wife, JoAnn, of Tyler, TX, Daniel Ray Tilton and wife, Peggy, of Shreveport, LA; three daughters, Hilda Towns and husband, the late Charles Towns, Betty Baker and husband, George, Janie Jones and husband, Charles, all of Shreveport, LA; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
