Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Schweiger
Mrs. Tillie Schweiger, 83, Clintonville, passed away at 4:05 p.m. Saturday at the Clintonville Community Hospital after an illness of about five weeks.
Mrs. Schweiger, the former Ottilie Kluth, was born Jan. 22, 1883 in Clintonville [to John Kluth & Christine Klinner]. In 1910, she moved to Milwaukee where she worked until her marriage to Irwin Schweiger. They lived in Milwaukee until 1936 when they moved to Clintonville where Mr. Schweiger opened a restaurant.
Mr. Schweiger preceeded his wife in death in 1942.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Minna Swanson, Clintonville, and Mrs. Alvina (Bohn) Hardt, Clintonville; and one brother Albert Kluth, Clintonville.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Clintonville Tabernacle with the Rev. Benjamin D. Urshan officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Paul Holtz, Raymond Waters, Elmer Netzke, Oliver Lundt, Jackson McConley, Sr. and Ed Wilke were the pallbearers.
The Eberhardt and Hoh Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
