Services Today For Albert Kluth

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Clintonville Tabernacle for Albert Kluth, 81, who died about 4:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Clintonville Community Hospital following a lingering illness.

Mr. Kluth was born Oct 28, 1885, in Clintonville and spent his early life in this city. When he was 19 he began work as a brakeman with the Northern-Pacific Railroad, later being promoted to conductor which position he held until his retirement in 1953. He and his wife continued to live in Livingston [MT] until 1963 when they moved to Clintonville.

The late Mr. Kluth was married to Bertha Klinner on April 18, 1936, at Clintonville. She survives. He was a member of the Northern Pacific Veterans and the Order of Railroad Conductors.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alvina Hardt and Mrs. Minnie Swanson, both of Clintonville. One brother and two sisters proceded him in death.

The Rev. F. Ellis and the Rev. M. H. Harris will officiate at the services this afternoon. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Martinson, William Beyersdoft, Lyle Dumke, Hilbert Klinner, Reuben Passehl and John Kluth. Arrangements were in charge of the Eberhardt and Hoh Funeral Home.
