Naomi Mae (Ralstin) Cawlfield, 78, lifelong Guymon area resident passed away Friday afternoon, July 14, 2000 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.

The daughter of William Albert "Bill" and Geneva Anna (Wilhoit) Ralstin, she was born April 4, 1922 on the Ralstin homestead north of Guymon. Naomi attended Brown's Corner school.

Naomi and Fred William Cawlfield were united in marriage February 8, 1946 in Liberal, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and four sisters: Rena Neff, Ila Dow Lyle, Ovie Holland and Aleda Reeves.

Survivers include her husband, Fred Cawlfield of the home; four children: Teryl Cawlfield of Mead, Oklahoma, Koleta and her husband, Jimmie Scott of Guymon, Bradley Cawlfield of Guymon and Marquetti and her husband, Billy Ward of Denton, Texas; six grandchildren: Tim Scott and his wife, Isabell, Blake Scott and his wife, Jeannie, Kelly Scott and his wife Chris, Rowdy Cawlfield and his wife, Mary, Jason Ward and Kristina Ward; six great grandchildren: Cody Scott, Sierra Barnhart, Kaci Cawlfield and Woody, Michelle, and Erin Rodriguez.

Other survivors include one sister, Irma Clemans and her husband, Orville Clemans of Guymon; brothers-in-law, Arden Neff of Fairfax, Oklahoma and W.E. Holland, of Guymon; sisters-in-law, Lois and her husband, Tom Hinchey of Guymon, Pearl Cawlfield of Bozman, Montana, Jane Cawlfield and Dasiy Cawlfield of Amarillo, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning, July 18th at 10:00 a.m. from the Bardon Cemetery with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Bardon Cemetery is located 20 miles north of Guymon on Hwy. 136 and 3 miles west on Road B.

The Cawlfield family suggest memorials be given to a charity of choice and will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112. Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
