Funeral services were held Tuesday in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, McHenry, for Albert N. Baker, 49, McHenry, who died Friday in a trailer home fire at Hamar.
Rev. Kinley Eittreim officiated and burial was to be in the Bethlehem Cemetery at McHenry. Pallbearers were Lannes and Robert Ellingson, Kenneth Comer, John Manz, Alfred Anderson and Harvey Messmer.
Mr. Baker was born at McHenry April 11, 1918, and had lived in the McHenry area his entire life as a laborer and construction worker. At the time of the fire he was employed at Hamar on construction of an elevator. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two brothersk Wilias of McHenry and Fred of Coleharbor; and five sisters, Mrs. Alta Haggarth, Cooperstown, Mrs. Joe Hladke, Ammeth, Kan., Mrs. Ralph Harding, McHenry, Mrs. Henry Ehlers, Hamar, and Mrs. Glen Ehlers, Renton, Wash.
