She was born Sept. 21, 1928 near Golden, Il. to Henry J. and Anna (Gronewold) Aden. Orma married Robert B. Croxton in Golden, Il. on Oct. 20, 1946. He survives in Quincy.
She was a 1946 graduate of Golden High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Golden Good Shepherd Home for many years and was an avid seamstress.
Orma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden. She had been a 4-H club leader many years, member of the Schuyler Co. Home Extension and the Mindale ABC Club.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Donald Kent Croxton of Amston, Conn. and Dean R. Croxton of Springfield, Il.; one daughter, Mrs. Harold "Carolyn" Schutte of Kirkwood, Mo.; two brothers and their wives, Elmer and Evelyn Aden of Golden, Il. and Ernest and Esther Aden of Camp Point, Il.; one sister, Mrs. Marion "Marian" Skouby of Webster Grove, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jarod L., Jamie L. and Jeffrey Dean Croxton, all of Springfield, Il. and Neil E. and Erica J. Schutte of Kirkwood, Mo. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 1995 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden by the Rev. Lynn Bergren. Burial will be in Golden Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Family will meet friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, Il. Friends may also call at the church Thursday morning after 9:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Retina Research and Development Foundation in St. Louis, Mo.
