Jean Boschung Bartlett, 90, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at a local care facility. A native of Cullman, Ala., Jean had resided in Panama City since 1952. She and her husband were square dance instructors for many years. She was also a founding member of Messiah Lutheran Church and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jean was preceded in death by her spouse, Kent Bartlett; parents, Charles and Opal Boschung; brother, Charles Boschung, and nephew, Larry Scott.
She is survived by nieces, Paula Riera-Gomez (Tito), Charlene Boschung, Brenda Fuller (Jeff) and Sandra Scott; nephews, Charles Boschung, III (Deborah), Rick Bartlett (Sandy) and Hosea Bartlett, III; 13 great-nieces and nephews and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul McComack officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the funeral home.
