MARGARET BROWN Services Tuesday KERRVILLE - Mrs. Margaret Brown, 89, of Medina, passed away Saturday, June 26, 1999, in a Kerrville care center. Mrs. Brown, a resident of Medina for 13 years and a prior resident of Flagstaff, Ariz., was born on Dec. 17, 1909, to William and Nettie Smith Hill. She married Henry Joshua Brown in 1926 in Cass County, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1985.

Mrs. Brown was a retired sales clerk for a clothing store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medina.

Survivors include one daughter, Opal Stone, and husband, Ed N., of Mabank, Texas; one son, James E. Brown Sr., and wife, Martha, of Medina; three sisters, Velma Kinney of Texarkana, Gladys Martindale of New Boston, and Mary Evelyn Boatner of Texarkana; one brother, R.A. Hill of Paradise; nine grandchildren; and 21 great- grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, June 28, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Brother Bill Moseley and the Rev. Tim Walsh officiating. Interment will follow at West Prong Cemetery in Medina.

Pallbearers are Philip Stone, James E. Brown Jr., Jay Randall Brown, John Michael Brown, Jay Pease and Richard Brown. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera. GRIMES Funeral Chapel
