Katherine was born Dec. 13, 1914, to Elin and Erik Hollander.
She attended Saunders Elementary School and Technical High School in Omaha, Nebraska.
She was employed by Federal Land Bank and Employers Mutual Casualty Co., both in Omaha.
On April 4, 1942, she married Harold H. Hancock. The couple resided in Herman, Nebraska from 1946-1987, then moved to Blair, Nebraska.
Katherine E. Hancock, 84, of Blair, died Nov. 11, 1999, in Arlington, Texas.
Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Omaha.
She is survived by one daughter and a son-in-law, Paula and Luigi Fornari; two grandchildren, Fleur and Gianlugi, both of Arlington, Texas; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold H. Hancock.
