Pauline A. Coates Macomber, 85, formerly of Pettaconsett Avenue, a Shore Chapter Gold Star Mother, died yesterday at the Coventry Health Center.
She was a member of the Norwood Baptist Church and the American Legion Airport Post Ladies Auxiliary.
She was born in Seekonk, a daughter of the late Rheinhold L. L. and Ethel V. (Peck) Gersdorff, and had lived in Warwick 40 years.
She is survived by two sons, a brother, 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a great-great step-grandchild.
