Nancy C. Ball
Nancy C. (Corbett) Ball, 69, of Elwood, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at her residence.
Nancy was born in Elwood on Nov. 14, 1940 to the late Frank and Ruth (Sattler) Corbett.
She married Donald E. Ball March 5, 1956. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 2005.
She retired from Owens Brockway Glass in Lapel. Nancy was an avid bowler at Wells Lanes.
Survivors include four daughters, Elizabeth and husband, Steve Shallenberger of Elwood, Debbie Cox of Tipton, Donna Hites of Lebanon and Dianna Ball and fiancee, David Heine of Elwood; one son, Ronald and wife, Lisa Ann Ball of Elwood; two sisters, Pansy "Pat" Long of Hobart and vTcki Beeman of Elwood; three brothers, Dallas Corbett of Elwood, Allen Corbett of Elwood and Steven Corbett of Elwood; seven grandchildren, Michele and husband, Jason Hockwalt, Trent and wife, Prudence Shallenberger, Tyrone and wife, Mendy Ball, Stormi Shallenberger and Dave Fischer, Mike and wife, Aftan Cox, Gregg Dickerson and Adam Frausto; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Hahn officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
