Anna Mae Day Boozer, 90, passed away on April 14, 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Guy Evan Day and Hattie Goings Day. She married Aubrey C. Boozer on December 20, 1952 and moved to Irving in 1955 where she raised her family.

Anna Mae was a loving and supportive daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was extremely proud of her family and diligently encouraged them toward spiritual maturity. Anna enjoyed church activities and instilled the pursuit of God in her children. Though working full time, she never missed an event, whether at school, club or church, in her children’s or grandchildren’s lives. She also kept busy as a member of the Irving Toastmasters Club and the Silver Sneakers Class.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Aubrey C. Boozer, and her brother, Lester Day. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Margie Sorrels; her 5 children - Lyn Williams, Charles (Wendy) Boozer, Kenneth (Karen) Boozer, Bonnie McSwain and Marie Boozer (Jim Legg); her 11 grandchildren - Joanna Williams, Aaron (Brenda) Williams, Ryan (Hilary) Boozer, Stephanie (Billy) Mitchell, Geoff (Mindy) Starnes, Kristen (Brian) Larch, Taylor (Leah) Boozer, James McSwain, Billy McSwain, Bonnie Legg and Carrie Legg; her 20 great-grandchildren and her 4 nieces and nephews, Janette Wells, Katherine Sorrels, Michael Day and Steven Day.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations in her name be made to; Community Bible Church, 2301 Texas Drive, Irving, TX 75062 or Berean Memorial Church, 1000 East 6th Street, Irving, Texas 75060.
