Deanna "Lyn" Williams, 68, passed away December 1, 2021 in Irving, TX. Lyn was born October 13, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Aubrey and Anna Mae Boozer. She graduated in 1972 from MacArthur High School in Irving and then attended The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX. Lyn's lifelong passion was to bring children, both hers and others, to know the love of Christ. She was a faithful servant for Christ throughout her life beginning at Berean Memorial Church in Irving, where she served faithfully in the Youth Clubs, Youth Camp, and Children's ministry and then later at Community Bible Church in Irving, where she served in Women's ministry, Children's Ministry, Awanas, and any areas needed. Lyn was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, and a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren. She worked in child care for many years, and for the last 25 plus years, she worked with an insurance agency.

Lyn was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Anna Mae, her brother in law James McSwain, and her beloved husband of 43 years, Dennis Williams. Lyn is survived by her two children, Joanna Williams of Conroe, and Aaron B. Williams (Brenda) of Dallas, as well as grandchildren Madison Bowen, Kayla Garcia, Che Garcia, Coby Garcia, Chloe Garcia (all of Conroe), and Aaron T. Williams, Rihanna Williams, and Georgina Williams (all of Dallas). Lyn will also be lovingly remembered by her four siblings Charles Boozer (Wendy) of North Richland Hills, Kenneth Boozer (Karen) of Irving, Bonnie McSwain of Irving, and Marie Boozer (Jim Legg) of Columbus, OH. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and family and friends.

Lyn will be laid to rest with her husband at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75111 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021. (Lane 3) There will be a memorial service to follow at noon Monday, December 20, 2021 at Community Bible Church, 2301 Texas Drive, Irving, TX 75062. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the children's ministry or Awana's Program at Community Bible Church.
