William H. Dingus Sr, 76 Kearney, MO passed away Monday, Oct 28, 1996 at Liberty Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m Thursday Oct 31, at Church-Archer-Padley Funeral Home, Liberty MO; interment will follow in Provident Cemetery.
Mr. Dingus was born December 27 1919, in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Mound City, KS and had lived in the Clay County area since 1936. He was a grain loader for International Multifoods for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Church of Christ and American Grain Millers Union. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Mae Dingus, in 1958.
Suvivors include his wife of 60 years, Frances Dingus, of the home; four sons, William H Dingus Jr, Liberty, MO, Jerry Dingus, Liberty, MO, Terry Dingus, of the home and Bob Dingus, Liberty, MO; two daughters, Sandy Jones, Kansas City, MO and Carole Wall, Kearney, MO; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
