Myron Wildrick
June 18, 1935 - April 11, 2018
Myron Wildrick, age 82, of Stevensville, PA passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on June 18, 1935 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Orrley Wildrick and Margaret Belle Pierce.
Myron enjoyed barbequing, fishing, watching westerns, playing rummy and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was known for telling stories and jokes. Myron took great pleasure in playing his guitar and harmonica. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them grow.
Myron is survived by his children, David Wildrick and his wife Tammy of Stevensville and Barbara Franklin and her husband Dennie, Sr. of Stevensville; his grandchildren, Pamela (Jeremy) Casselbury of Stevensville, Sally Wildrick of Rome, PA, Erika Franklin Strope (Ryan) of Rome, Jessika Yoder (Ira) of Warren Center, PA , Jennifer Vandyke (Tyler) of Ridgebury, PA, Dennie Franklin, Jr. (Kaitlyn Vandyke) of Stevensville, PA and Donald Wildrick, Jr. of;his great-grandchildren Venessa Gonzalez, Oaklyn Vandyke, Grayson Strope, Briana Casselbury, and Joshua Casselbury; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Martha Jane Wildrick (d. December 10, 2017) and his son Donald Wildrick, Sr. (d. January 9, 2009).
Funeral services for Myron will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:00 noon from the Sheldon Funeral Homes, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA with Reverend Charles Bishop of the Elk Lake and Transue Community Churches officiating. Interment will follow at the Terrytown Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
