Born in Licking County, Ohio in 1875, the daughter of Daniel H. and Elvira A. Watson Gosnell, Zella Bird, 37, died Saturday morning, May 10, 1913 in her Taylor Township home at Broadway Corners after a two year illness.
She had lived in Union County since the age of three, when her parents moved here. She was a school teacher and married Edward C. Bird on October 1, 1901.
Survived by her husband and a six year old daughter, Mildred; a sister, Mrs. Clara Weaver of Marysville.
Burial in Broadway Cemetery after the funeral in Baptist Church in Broadway.
