HARRY M. BEACH
Mr. Beach, 85, of Martinsburg died at 11 .30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 1984, in the Homewood Retirement Center, Martinsburg, after a brief illness.
Mr. Beach retired as a mechanic in the sheet metal shop of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1961, after 12 years' service.
He was born June 16, 1895, in New Enterprise, Bedford County, the son of James and Kathryn (Miller) Beach, and was twice married, first, in 1919, to Grace C. Smith, who died in 1945, then in 1951, to Elvira Walters.
Surviving are his wife, four children; Joseph C. and James C. of Martinsburg, Mary R. Washington of Brevard. N C , and Raymond H. of Bradenton, Fla.: 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Lottie Kinsel of Martinsburg.
Mr. Beach was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Ellenton. Fla , and a former member and deacon of the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
He was a former member of the Martinsburg Sportsmen's Association and a former director of the Blair County Baseball League.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p m Thursday in the John C Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
