Alejandro Bocanegra, age 87 of Curtis, Ohio and formerly of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born on January 11, 1931 in Wealder, TX to Marcos and Vivianna (Segura) Bocanegra. Alejandro proudly served his country in the United Sates Army during the Korean War. He was employed for many years at the Corpus Christie Naval Base as a mechanic. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his children, Belinda (Matt Netry) Mathews, David Bocanegra and Mary Lee (Alan) Palanker; grandchildren, Miles McNulty, Ashley (Jason) Reihing, Simone Polanker, Benjerman Netry and Christopher Bocanegra. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Jaylin and Charles Reihing.

Private graveside services are being held in Corpus Christi, TX.
