Early Life: O'Leah was born April 25, 1938, to Gastin and Era M. Farnworth Garlick, the youngest of their eight children. She was raised in American Fork, Utah, and attended beauty college.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On July 10, 1959, O'Leah married the love of her life, Gary Daniel Peay, in the Manti Utah Temple. To this sweet union were born seven children. Their home was a home of service led by O'Leah's example. She was a gracious woman of many talents, a generous heart, and quiet sparkle. She devoted herself to her husband and family. Her hands were never idle they were always serving. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the gospel. She researched over 2,000 names for temple work, cross stitched beautiful Christmas stockings for her family and dear friends, and was an excellent seamstress. Nothing she did was for herself, only those she loved so dearly. Precious mother and beloved wife, O'Leah Ann Garlick Peay returned to her heavenly home on March 30, 2018, after serving her family for over 79 years.
Survived By: Her eternal sweetheart, Gary Peay; their children: Stephanie Hunt (Jeff), Scott Peay (Jana), Kevin Peay (Shellie), Christian Peay (Margo), Todd Peay (Florence), Amy Abram (Ron), Stacy Jones (Joshua); 39 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; her brother, Jay Garlick; and sister, Bernice G. Miller.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents; brothers: DeVerl, Bruce, Ben and Howard; sister, Helen; and two grandchildren: Adam and Amanda Hunt.
