Mrs. Jans Boontjer was born near Ayr, Neb., June 4, 1888 and departed this life, November 10, 1923, at the age of 35 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was taken ill with pneumonia, and all that medical skill could do was done but of no avail. On January 19, 1919 she was married to Jans Boontjer, who today with his four little children mourns the death of a loving wife and mother. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Blaschke of Hastings at 1 o'clock at the home from there to the Hanover Presbyterian Church, where services were held. The body was laid in its last resting place in the Hanover cemetery. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, four little children, a father, stepmother, three brothers and two sisters, besides a host of relatives and friends. May these all realize that through faith in God, and His precious blood, there is yet the best to follow in that land where time never ceases, where we shall never say goodbye.
