BIRTH: August 5, 1883, in Adams County, Nebraska, to Otto Boontjer (born 1854) and Sibentje Cynthia "Centy" Van Hove (born 1863).

DEATH: March 10, 1945, in Hastings, Admas County, Nebraska.

MARRIAGE: Anna Murra, Daughter of Henry Murra (1858–1930) and Friedrike Kathtrin "Frieda" Dieken (1862–1914).
Children born to Jans Tedin Boontjer and Anna Murra: Cynthia Boontjer, Henry A Boontjer, Catherine F. Boontjer, Laurine Josephine Boontjer, and Maurene J. Boontjer.

MARRIAGE: March 2, 1942 to Jennie Pearl (Nelson) Baker, in Clay County, Nebraska.

Perhaps you would like to add the obit for Jans and move his "unknown burial" memorial to Hanover Presbyterian Church Cemetery; Adams County, Nebraska.

Jans T. Boontjer 62 died this morning at 5 o'clock at his home 308 South Boston. He had been ill for several months. A long-time resident here, he had been a trucker.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Curtis and Mrs. Catherine Eaglin both of Hastings; one son, Henry of California, five grandchildren, five stepchildren and two brothers, Theodore A. Boontjer and Orey Boontjer, both of Hastings.

The body is at the Brand Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. H. B. Blaschke of the Hanover church will officiate.

Burial will be in the Hanover cemetery.
