Funeral services for Freda Aileen Churchbaugh, 85, Lawrence, were Saturday at Central United Methodist Church, Lawrence. Mrs. Churchbaugh died July 14, 2005, at her daughter's home in Lawrence.
She was born December 7, 1919, in Franklin County, the daughter of Amos and Dollie (Smith) Barnhart. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the farming.
She married Donald Bruce Churchbaugh Feb. 14, 1938, at Pleasant Grove. He died Dec. 23, 2004.
She was preceded in death by a sister Alta Proctor.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Grant and her husband Van, Lawrence, and Connie Hey and her husband John, Baldwin City; two grandchildren; a brother-in-law and a nephew.
