Jacksonville, Ill., Aug. 6 - Mrs. Margaret G. Lindsay, widow of the late John Lindsay, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eli Crawford, at the age of 87 years. She was born in Belfast, Ireland, and married here when 16 years of age. She and her husband came to America and first settled in Boonville, Mo., and later came to this county. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. E. Crawford, Mrs. Mary Stewart, Joseph , and John Lindsay, all of Jacksonville, and Samuel D. of Chicago.
