Eileen Marian Hibma, 94 of Mankato, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2018 at Ecumen Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington, Minnesota later that afternoon. Memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eileen was born October 17, 1923 in Nobles County, Minnesota. She grew up on a farm near St. Kilian, Minnesota. On May 4, 1944 she married Leon Hibma. Together they raised three children, Dennis, Leone, and Mike. In her free time, Eileen enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, puzzles, bingo, and reading. She also enjoyed playing Shanghai Rummy with family every week.

Eileen is survived by her children, Dennis (Gloria) Hibma of Worthington, Leone Meyer of Mankato, and Mike (Rhonda) Hibma of Worthington; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Inez Balster of Worthington and Donald Bruns of Dent, Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Alver, Raymond, and Brother Urban; sisters, Lorraine and Nelma; and infant sister, Marilyn.
