A Mass of Christian Burial for Otis Beck, 82, of Little River-Academy will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Greathouse Cemetery.
Mr. Beck died Saturday, March 31, at a Temple hospital.
He was born Jan. 28, 1936, in Oenaville to Henry and Irene Witcher Beck. He graduated from Temple High School. He married Jackie Burnett on June 24, 1967. He worked for Temple Tag Co. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and SPJST Lodge No. 177. He served on the Little River-Academy City Council, Bell County Sportsman Club and RVOS.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Nov. 7, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, Rick Beck of Moffat, Terrell Beck of Morgan’s Point Resort and Kevin Beck of Temple; two daughters, Deborah Dunning of Temple and Shelly Fowler of Morgan’s Point Resort; a sister, Nell Thomas of Killeen; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the SPJST Scholarship Fund.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple; a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
