Funeral services for Mr. Jackie K. Lawrence, age 69, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Rev. Phillip Casper officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Bailey Funeral Home.
Mr. Lawrence was born on January 9, 1949 to Keete M.and Frances Burnell Hatch Lawrence in Springhill, LA and passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Shreveport. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was an industrial painter for many years. He enjoyed fishing and refurbishing old equipment with his brother Bobby.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pamela Jean Lawrence; two sons, Bryan Foster of Stillwater, OK, Michael Foster and wife, Idaliz of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Ashleigh Foster, Brenan Foster, Bella Ruiz; brother, Bobby Lawrence of Sarepta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jimmy Wayne Lawrence.
