Elvin, 78, Celina, died at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.

He was the son of Forest and Marcella (Strable) Forlow. On Jun 1, 1962, he married Marlene Apple, who survives in Celina.

Also surviving are a son, Timothy (Angel) Forlow, Celina; a brother, Duane (Candy) Forlow, Celina; two sisters: Lois Stein, Chicago, IL, and Janet Kittle, Ft. Recovery; and two grandchildren.

Deceased are a son linked below; and two brothers-in-law: Jim Kittle and Jerry Stein.

A 1957 graduate of Celina High School, he served in the National Guard. He was formerly employed at Wolfe Firestone and Bruce Green’s Ford. He retired from Crown. After he retired he worked for CBS Automotive, Celina. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township. He was very involved at his church, he sang in the Choir, was an elder of the Church, participated in The Lutheran Men in Mission group and played on the dart ball team. He was also a member of the Grand Lake Sound Waves Chorus.

Services will be at the St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township, with Rev. Karen Tomorria officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
