LUDLOW - Barbara M. (Wheeler) Cook, 71, of Michael St., Ludlow, died Monday, January 16, 2006 in Cooley-Dickinson Hospital. Born in Ludlow, Massachusetts, April 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jennie (Norman) Wheeler. Barbara had been employed by Big Y Supermarkets, Stop & Shop Supermarkets, and had also been employed by the Colony Club. Barbara will long be remembered for her passion for life, her love of the ocean, camping, music and dancing, her animals, and sun worshipping. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert A. Tebo; her loving daughters, Norma Thompson of Wales, MA, Nancy Jodoin of Ludlow, MA, and Lori Curtis and her husband James of Three Rivers, MA; a son, Charles Duncan and his wife Patricia of Springfield, MA; her sister, Florence Whitcomb of Turners Falls, MA. A brother, Donald Wheeler, predeceased her. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren. She was the grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 16. Friends may call at the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow on Friday from 5-7 p.m. Rites of Committal will be at a later date in the Massachusetts Memorial Veterans' Cemetery Agawam.
