Lucy married Don Oliver Thornton (b. 5/2/1926) on 9/13/1947,.
Their children are:
Terry Lucille Thornton Cragun (b.1948)wife of Kent G. Cragun,
Alan Don Thornton (b.1949) husband of Jeanne West Thornton,
Gary Steven Thornton (b.1952) husband of Margot Ann Pettingill Thornton, and Jeffrey Thornton (b.1954).
They lived in Provo, Orem then Ogden, Utah then spent a few years in Southern California, returning to Salt Lake City in 1963. After the children left they spent a couple years in Walnut Creek, California then returned to SLC, finally deciding to retire to Saint George, Utah.
Lucy was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She loved reading, art and nature.
Her brightness and intrinsic cheerful nature is greatly missed by family and friends.
