Obituary for Steven Douglas Fletcher
Steven Douglas Fletcher, 64, passed away on March 10, 2018 in Ocala, FL. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, and their children — Blake, Doug and his wife Meghan, Megan and her fiancé Zach Smith of Colorado, Grant and his fiancé Mary Scott Hardaway of Charleston, SC — and three grandchildren, Anna, James, and Olivia Fletcher. He is also survived by his sister Pamela Rodbro of Oxford, OH and his brother Bruce Fletcher of Middletown, OH. Steven was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 20, 1953 the son of Robert and Bettye (Weber) Fletcher of Middletown, OH. He graduated from Miami University of Ohio in 1975 with a degree in Business. Steven married Debbie in 1979 and in 1983 they started their custom home building business, Fletcher Custom Homes, in Cincinnati, OH, which they operated for 30 years. Steve took a position with The Villages of Citrus Hills, Hernando, FL, and then moved to Ocala where he worked as a Senior Community Representative for Shea Marketing Co. at Trilogy at Ocala Preserve. Steven is remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and loyal friend.  Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and never missed an opportunity to visit with his four children even though they lived far away. Steven was passionate about building and was known for his affinity for classic Corvettes. He was an active and dedicated member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church.
Graduated in the Class of '71 from Middletown High School.
