FLETCHER, Robert M. age 88, of Franklin, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born June 30, 1924 in Powhattan, Kansas, the son of Jesse F. Fletcher and Emma (Zuck) Fletcher. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps where he served as a 1st Lieutenant and piloted a B-24 aircraft during World War II. He retired from Armco Steel as Corporate Director of Purchasing after 38 years of service. Robert was a member of Brown's Run Country Club, Delta Tau Delta, and the American Iron and Steel Institute.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bettye L. (Weber) Fletcher; one daughter, Pamela Susan (Chris) Rodbro of Oxford, Ohio; two sons, Bruce (Sandy) Fletcher of Middletown, Ohio, Steven (Debbie) Fletcher of Lecanto, Florida; eight grandchildren, Sara and Jake Fletcher, Matthew and Amy Rodbro, and Doug, Grant, Blake, and Megan Fletcher; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Doty officiating. Private entombment will be at the Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum.
