Surviving husband, Sam L. Adams, Jr.; 2 sons; 1 daughter; 3 brothers; 1 sister and a grandson. Funeral service tomorrow at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel and burial in Forrest Cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Etowah County; member of 12th St. Baptist Church; several community organizations and a well known violinist having played in civil and church activities. Helen was a daughter of W.W. and Eva McClelen Thornton. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
