Harlansburg--Annie Husing, 87, of the Haven Convalescent Home, died at 7:30 p.m. following an extended illness.
Mrs. Husing was born Dec. 22, 1893 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County to Lawrence and Mary Reed Armstrong, who preceded her in death. She had been married to Louis Husing, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Husing was a member of Oak Grove United Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Edna Allison of New Castle RD 6 and several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Reed and Theodore Armstrong, and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Brown and Mrs. Lottie Hogue, also preceded her in death.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday in the Joseph W. Boyd Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Blanchard Romaine III officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
