Creston - Mrs. Rena Arant Edwards, 87, widow of Richard Earle Edwards, died Wednesday in an Orangeburg County hospital. The funeral will be 4:30 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Dukes-Harley Funeral Home. Mrs. Edward was born at Fort Motte, a daughter of the late Adam and Sallie Crook Arant. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. B. D. Pendarvis of St. Matthews, Mrs. Stanley Barwick of Folly Beach, Mrs. Thurman Cross of Columbia, Mrs. Bobby Ayers of Orangeburg, Mrs. Lawrence Cuttino of Cordova; three sons, Harry E. Edwards and Richard A. Edwards, both of Creston, and D. E. Edwards of Cameron; three sisters, Mrs. William E. Barber of Orangeburg, Mrs. Dewey Byrd Pendarvis and Mrs. Gelzer Moorer, both of Holly Hill; one brother, Thomas E.
