Katherine LaVerne Thomas, age 86, of Monroe, died on February 18, 2018. She was born in Walton County on April 4, 1931 to the late Mary Green Myers and the late Herbert Myers. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Bobby Donald Thomas.
Survivng are: sons, Mark Thomas of Monroe, Don Thomas of Monroe; sisters and brothers in law, Janet and Preston Moore of Loganville, Sandra and Joe Johnson of Loganville, Betty and Carroll Rutledge of Stone Mountain, Kay and Jackie Smith of Loganville; brothers and sisters in law, Bo and Mary Jean Myers of Loganville, Terry and Betty Myers of Loganville, Donald and Marie Myers of Loganville; grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Donnie Thomas, Richard and Caroline Thomas, Bella Prather; and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Preston Moore officiating. Interment followed at Towler Cemetery.
