Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated February 19, 2018, for Sandra Coty Allen, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Lufkin. Interment will follow in Fielder Memorial Cemetery.
Sandra Coty Allen was born April 1, 1941 in Lufkin and passed away February 16, 2018 in Nacogdoches. She was the daughter of the late Margaret (LaBar) and Eugene O. Coty.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was passionate about education and was a life time educator for Lufkin Independent School District. She truly enjoyed helping the children at school. She was a trusted counselor at LISD. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Survivors include daughter Kim Allen Maness and Kevin Jay Toler and her children, Jordan Maness and John Logan Maness; son, Kenneth Keith Allen and spouse, Lisa Allen; their children, Coty Allen and Kristin Allen; Donna Allen Heath and her children, Blake and spouse, Breanne Heath. Briley Heath and Bethanie Heath; son, Dalva Eugene Allen and spouse, Meda Allen and their children, Tonya Allen, Eryn Allen, Tren Allen and Raegan Allen; John Witten Allen and spouse, Carrie Allen and their children, Houston Allen and Hayden Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Donald Wayne Allen; and sister, Kathryn Marie Coty.
