Mrs. Marcella Ann Blevins, age 69, of Stuart passed away February 12, 2018 at her home. She was born in Bluefield, WV on March 11, 1948 to the late Roy Keither Blevins and Peachy Lockhart Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Reginald Keither Blevins and Rodney “Chip” Blevins. Mrs. Blevins had been a bus driver for the Surry and Patrick County School Systems for many years.
Surviving are two daughters, Tonya Pack of Stuart, Tammy Monteforte of New Orleans, LA; one son, Travis Scott Jessup of Mt. Airy, NC; 9 grandchildren, Logan Jessup, Kristen Hulbert, Brandon Pack, Benjamin Pack, Anna Marie Pack, Michael Pack, Brooklyn Modlin, Devin Harris, Justice Harris; 2 great grandchildren, Autumn Modlin, Lukas Modlin; two sisters, Marietta Helmandollar and Deborah Crigger both of Tazewell; one brother, Michael Blevins of Dobson, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 2 PM at Middle Cross Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Morrison officiating. Burial will be private.
