Mrs. Beaird, 80, of West Monroe died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday in Glenwood Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Beaird was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for many years. A native of Union Parish, she was a resident of West Monroe for 25 years. She was the past president of the Pelican State Golden Age Senior Citizens Association and the Western Pride Senior Citizens Club. She was a member of Fort Miro Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution. She retired from Ford Motor Co.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bill Reighney of West Monroe and Mrs. Carl E. Voda of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. William A. Moss of Lafayette and Mrs. Roy A. Waller of Magnolia, Ark.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until time of services today in the funeral home.
