Aileen McCollister Brookshire Collins age 84 of Loudon passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was of the Baptist faith. Aileen was the longtime owner and operator of Aileen’s Alterations in Lenoir City. Preceded in death by her parents, Gurthie and Susie McCollister; brother, Doyle McCollister and sister, Hester Jones. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arnold “Ab” and Denise Brookshire; grandchildren, Matt and Tashia Brookshire, Joe and Christie Brookshire; great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Madeline, Katelyn, Caroline and John; sister, Faye Brookshire; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Evonne Brookshire, Avalon Hospice, and Kindred Health Care for their care. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 3rd at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will proceed to Riverview Cemetery for graveside services at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Russell Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Trinity United Methodist Church or East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
