Josephine (Haynes) Strawthers was born on September 19 about 1906 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Reverend James C Haynes (ca 1883- ) and America E (Ransom) Haynes (ca 1882- ). [Josephine was listed in the 1910 census as 4 years old, so she could not have been age 29 and born in 1914 as her Death Certificate has it.]
She was married to J W Strawthers.
Living at 501 Young's Lane in Nashville, she was {not 29 years old, but rather} about 37 years old and married when she died on January 7, 1944 at Hubbard Hospital of a pulmonary embolism. Burial was three days later in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashville.
Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with Rev J C Haynes of Taylor Lane as the informant.
