BAUMGARDNER - STRAYER - Esther M., 91, Richland Twp., died October 30, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born October 2, 1928, in Jerome, daughter of Ralph and Mary (Thomas) Lybarger. Preceded in death by parents; 1st husband, Bennie Strayer; 2nd husband, Dwayne Baumgardner; brother, David; and sisters, Althea Kaufman, Anna Ruth Spangler, and Dorothy Bowman. Survived by children, Dixie (Barry Lampel); Doug (Sherry Phillippi); and Bardon (Kathy (Nicholson); six grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and brother, George. She was amember of Belmont United Methodist Church, and a retired teacher’s aide from Conemaugh Twp. Elementary School. Friends received Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 10 until the hour of memorial service at 11AM at Belmont UM Church, with Pastor Jean Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arbutus Park Manor. Internment Kaufman Cemetery, Davidsville, PA. Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. is in charge of arrangements.
