Charles William Autry, age 79, of Social Circle, died on January 29, 2018. He was born in Covington, GA on August 13, 1938 to the late Emma Town Autry, and the late Charlie H. Autry. He was preceded in death by his brother, the late Gerald Autry.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Long Autry of Social Circle; daughter and son in law, Debbie and Emory Banister, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL; sons and daughter in law, Jeff C. Autry of Masfield, Greg and Dawn Autry of Mansfield; sister and brother in law, Jean and Donald Swords of Snellville; sister in law, Nancy Autry of Covington; grandchildren: Erin Banister, Emory Banister, Jr., Garrett Autry, Ramsey Autry, and Griffin Autry.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Elder Ronnie Loudermilk officiating. A graveside service led by brother Randell Allgood will follow at Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery

In Lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to the Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund.
